| I bought a heavy pomelo, confident that it would be thin-skinned, juicy, and tasty. When I peeled it open, I discovered the thickest rind I’d ever seen. Then I took out the flesh, it felt firm, suggesting sweetness; Then I took a bite, It was dry and hard, bitter and boring. I rarely waste food, but this time, I have to throw it away. To make the best use of it, I spent some more time with it, and drew its portrait. Bye bye pomelo. I think next time I will just buy some oranges. |
